Sod & Lawn Services

More Than Laying Down New Sod.

A finished lawn begins with understanding what is already in the area and what preparation is needed before the new sod is installed.

Old Lawn Removal

Remove What Is Not Working

Worn grass, weeds, roots and unwanted surface material can be removed before the area is prepared for new sod.

Ground Preparation

Build A Better Foundation

The approved area is cleared and prepared so the new sod can make consistent contact with the soil beneath it.

Light Grading

Improve The Surface

Minor low spots and uneven areas can be addressed during preparation when light grading is included in the approved scope.

Sod Installation

Bring Green Space Back

Fresh sod is installed, fitted and finished to create a cleaner, usable lawn area.

Before Sod Is Installed

Reliable Watering Is Essential.

Fresh sod needs consistent, even watering while the roots establish. The irrigation system should be tested before installation to identify dry areas, broken components or inadequate coverage.

Irrigation repairs, sprinkler adjustments or new irrigation work are included only when they are specifically listed in the approved project scope.

Before We Schedule Installation

Confirm Irrigation Coverage

Every approved sod area needs dependable and reasonably even watering.

Review Drainage & Grade

Existing drainage concerns or substantial grading needs should be identified before installation.

Plan For Establishment

New sod requires careful watering and limited foot traffic while its roots become established.

Lawn Project Areas

Renovate One Area Or Rebuild The Lawn.

Sod projects can focus on one damaged section or include multiple lawn areas around the property.

Front Yards

Improve The First Impression.

Replace worn, patchy or damaged front-yard grass with a cleaner and more consistent lawn surface.

Backyards

Create More Usable Green Space.

Renovate backyard lawn areas for recreation, family use and a more finished appearance.

Partial Lawn Repairs

Focus On The Areas That Need It.

Sod work can be limited to approved damaged or unusable sections without replacing the entire lawn.

New Lawn Areas

Turn Bare Ground Into Lawn.

Prepare approved dirt or unfinished landscape areas for new sod and usable green space.

Not sure whether sod is the right solution?

Show us the area and explain how you want to use it. We can discuss the existing conditions, irrigation, preparation and maintenance requirements before the project is approved.

Clear Project Pricing

Know The Price And Scope Before Work Begins.

Sod installation pricing depends on the area, existing lawn, preparation, access and the amount of sod required.

We build the quote around the actual project so you know what the reviewed scope includes before the work is scheduled.

What We Consider

01

Removal & Preparation

Existing grass, weeds, roots, debris, soil conditions and preparation requirements are considered when we build the scope.

02

Sod & Quantity

The sod variety, total square footage, waste allowance and delivery requirements determine the material cost.

03

Access & Installation

Hauling distance, wheelbarrow access, slopes, obstacles, crew time and installation requirements affect the final price.

If the project scope changes or additional work is requested, we'll discuss it with you before adding it to the project.

Approved Project Scope

The Quote Defines What Is Included.

Your approved quote will identify the lawn areas being completed, removal and preparation work, sod, installation and haul-away included in the project. Irrigation changes, substantial grading, soil amendments, edging or other additional work is included only when it is specifically listed in the approved scope.

Sod & Lawn Questions

Helpful Answers Before You Get Started.

How much does sod installation cost?

Sod installation pricing depends on the total square footage, existing lawn or material that must be removed, soil preparation, grading, access, sod quantity and installation requirements. We evaluate the actual project and provide one clear price before work begins.

Can you remove the old grass before installing new sod?

Yes. Old grass, weeds, roots and unwanted surface material can be removed as part of the approved project scope before the area is prepared for new sod.

Do you provide the sod?

Sod sourcing, delivery and installation can be included in the quote. The sod variety, required quantity and delivery requirements are reviewed before the project is scheduled.

Does the irrigation system need to work before sod is installed?

New sod requires reliable and even watering. The existing irrigation system should be tested before installation. Irrigation adjustments or repairs are included only when they are specifically listed in the approved project scope.

How soon can new sod be used?

New sod needs time to establish roots before receiving normal foot traffic. Establishment time depends on the season, watering, soil conditions and sod variety. We recommend limiting traffic until the sod is firmly rooted.
